Batucuda Elite are an energetic team of talented percussionists and friends who form Sydney’s most respected Brazilian Batucada drumming troupe.
Batucada Elite have developed a unique version of the Brazilian Batucada rhythm. They infuse Latin and African grooves, incorporating incredible body shaking beats with traditional Capoeira dance.
Their unforgettable performance has seen them raise the roof at events such as State of Origin 07, The Big Day Out and Good Vibrations, Sydney Festival and many more.

Their combined achievements include residencies at Moulin Rouge (Paris), lead dancer for Hed Kandi (Ibiza), winner of 'Sydney’s Best Podium Dancer', 'NRL’s cheerleader of the Year' and showcases at both Sydney and Melbourne fashion week. Leeroy Petersen is one of the top flair bartenders in Australasia. He’ll set your party on fire, literally, with astonishing cocktail acrobatics and flash moves, all done with finesse and grace.
Leeroy is currently the ‘Bacardi Australasian Freestyle Flair Champion’, this allowed him to represent Australia at the World Flair Titles in Dubai UAE, placing 6th in the World. His illustrious career started in 1997, when Leeroy was placed 2nd in the Australasian Flair Championships and 3rd in Canada in 1998 and in 2002.
Fresh from a tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Macau, China and the US, Leeroy has performed for Cartier, Ferrari, Virgin Atlantic, Sony & Lion Nathan.
